David Leon Gibson Jr.

David Leon Gibson, Jr. “Chip”, age 37, of Griffin, GA passed away July 21, 2016. Chip was born in Douglasville, GA. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, history and politics; he was on the wrestling team in college at Anderson College, played football in school, and attended First Baptist Church in McDonough and the Cary Coan Sunday School Class. Survivors are his wife, Lisa Ratcliff Gibson of Griffin; children, Geoffrey Gibson and Mary Catherine Gibson; father and step mother, David Leon Gibson, SR and wife, Holly of Ashburn, GA; mother, Belinda Heard Gibson of Griffin; grandparents, Irma and Don Selman of Hampton and Margo and Wallace Heard of Panama City, FL; several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 – 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 – 11:00 AM at Haisten Funeral Home with Rev.
