On Saturday, April 13th 2024, Dana Evan Daniel was called home into the arms of Jesus. He was born on June 27th, 1963 to Charles (Chuck)Evan Daniel and Willene Wester Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents, his older sister and brother, Linda Daniel and Danny Daniel. He is survived by his wife of over seventeen years, Meredith Lorton Daniel , daughters Kailee Daniel, Elizabeth Daniel, granddaughter Hailey, Grandson Ares, sister Kathy Daniel Kirkwood and multiple nephews, nieces and cousins and many close friends.
Dana was a master welder and fabricator, who had recently started a new career with the City of Locust Grove in order to be closer to his family. He was a lifelong music enthusiast who played the bass in his teen years and had brought that talent and enthusiasm to the Praise Band at his home church LGUMC. He loved his church family and was deeply involved in the support and missions of the church. He loved watching his daughter Kailee sing with the band and mentoring other children in their love of God and Music. He loved his home, helping his wife Meredith in her garden working in his home shop, and fishing every chance he got. Most of all he loved God and was vocal in his belief.
His Memorial service with be held on June 22nd at 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall of Locust Grove United Methodist Church, 211 Peeksville Rd., Locust Grove, GA 30248 where his beloved Praise Band will play in his honor.
