Proverbs 3:15-18
15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
Mama, a four-letter word just the same as the four-letter word love. Our Mama and Grannie was Love! She loved her Jesus and always said she could shout from the mountain tops all He had done for her. She wanted everyone to know He is real! She loved her family fiercely and was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She found great joy in serving others, and with anything she did, she would say, “It’s just love, because for God so loved.” She was known to many as “Grannie” and to know her was to love her. She had a green thumb and could grow anything. She loved flowers of all kinds and enjoyed watching birds. She was an amazing cook and loved to feed her family all their favorite things. She also enjoyed trips to the beach and reading her Bible to learn more about her Jesus. No words can ever express how deeply she will be missed. However, the legacy of love she leaves behind will never end.
