Charles Edward Taylor, Jr., 72, passed away on June 19, 2017 in McDonough, GA. He was born in Atlanta, GA to Betty Jo Phillips. Chuck grew up in Henry County, GA. He graduated from Henry County High School. After high school he joined the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1967. He began a 33 year long career with BellSouth as an Outside Plant Technician. Chuck is survived by his wife Joan Taylor of Stockbridge, GA; son, Jeff Taylor; daughter, Christy Taylor Wallace; step-son, Allen Phillips Hanson, Jr. (Amy); and step-daughter, JoBeth Hanson Connerat (Brian). He had eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held to honor the life of Chuck Taylor on July 1, 2017 at Haisten Funeral Home, 1745 South Zack Hinton Parkway, McDonough, GA. at 2PM. The family will be greeting friends and relatives one hour prior to the service.
