Mr. Charles Mackey Paul, age 76 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 18, 2017. He was born in Shellman, Georgia to the late Ernest Lee and Sara Nora Lee Conley Paul. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gwendolyn Carswell. Charles owned and operated service station in the Atlanta area for fifty years and was a member of Southern Crescent Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Dolores Mason Paul; daughters, Lisa Kay Paul of Locust Grove, Charlotte Paul (Ricky) Sanders of Fayetteville, Donna Lynn (Kevin) Moss of Brooks; grandchildren, Branden Gittens, Kayla Sims, Mattyson Paul, Riley Sanders, Daniel Moss and Caleb Moss; great grandchildren, Ryan, Peyton, Luke, Travis, Andrew and Trysten; siblings, Bobbie (Pete) Porter of Bogart, Winell (Ray) White of Ocala, FL, Jackie (Charles) Hazelrig of Locust Grove, Walter (Lanell) Paul of McDonough and Anita Short of Albany; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, January 22, 2017 – 3:00 PM at Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Don Pickerill will officiate. Friends may visit the family Sunday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the American Kidney Foundation or American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Paul.
