Charles Allen Cook, age 86, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024. He was born in Rock Hill, SC on October 18, 1937 to the late Charles Monroe and Mary Morris Cook. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Cook, sister, Sherry Cook Cameron, brother, Melvin Cook and his beloved pets, Wolf, Lassie and Angel. He faithfully served his country in the United States Army, United States Air Force and the National Guard. He last worked at Abra/Caliber Collision and always stated that he was a jack of all trades and master of none. As an avid hunter, he enjoyed the outdoors, walking in the woods or just sitting and watching the animals or water. He loved anything with wolves and cowboys, especially Clint Eastwood, John Wayne and Indians. He was very proud of his Indian heritage. He always stated he was born in the wrong era and should've been born during the cowboy days. He was an amazing artist and enjoyed playing the tambourine and harmonica. He loved doting on and spoiling his dog, Taffy. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Ruby Weaver Cook; children, Randy (Jennifer) Cook and Crystal (Wayne) Mitchell; step-children, Barbara Matheny and Jerry (Leigh) Weaver; sister, Loretta Cook Strickland; eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and eleven nieces, nephews and their families. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 - 1:00 pm at Life In The Spirit Full Gospel Church, 638 Dailey Mill Rd.,McDonough, GA 30253.
