Celia Ann Stewart, age 84, passed away on November 3, 2023. She was born on April 6, 1939 in Fort Worth, TX to the late Lacey and Lou Gomillion. She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Edwin Stewart and granddaughter, Lacie Smith. Celia adored music and she was passionate about playing the piano. She also enjoyed crocheting. Celia is survived by her son; Tim (Jana) Stewart of Newnan, GA, daughters; Charmaine (Mitchell) Smith of Locust Grove, GA, Joy Beth Potts, 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, siblings; Paula (Kent) Van Eaton of Richmond, TX, Melanie (Richard) Weiner of San Antonio, TX, Bart (Rhonda) Hobbs of Richmond, TX, Mary Calgren of Marana, AZ along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, GA. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Burial will follow at Rose Garden Cemetery in McDonough, GA.
