Carole Jean Wright, age 84, of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. She was born in Chicago, IL on November 29, 1938 to the late Nicholas LaPorte and Genevieve Kusenkiewicz. Carole was also preceded in death by her husband William "Bill" Wright. She loved life, her family and entertaining. She could decorate anything to make it look like it came out a magazine. Carole was a member of Locust Grove Methodist Church and she loved listening to Gary read the Bible to her. She is survived by her children, Janice (Bob) Belson of Locust Grove, Gary (Robin) Overbey of McDonough and Susan (Derek Wanliss) of N. Ogden, UT. She will be greatly missed by her four grandchildren, Eric (Amanda) Overbey, Sean (Nicole) Overbey, Sarah (Matthew) Durr and Hannah (Seth) Bauer and her seven great grandchildren. Private services will be held.
