Carol Leigh Buchanan

Mrs. Carol Leigh Buchanan, age 49 of McDonough, Georgia passed away January 24, 2019. She was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Joseph Lee Chumley and Jo Carol Queen Clark. Leigh retired after over 20 years with Food Depot. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, family game nights and was an avid New England Patriots fan. She loved to decorate for all holidays with Christmas being her favorite. Survivors include her husband, Allen Buchanan; children, Brandi Griffis, Wesley (Rachael) Buchanan, Haley Buchanan, Trevor Buchanan, Travis Buchanan and Tiffany Sicard; grandchildren, Nicolas Sicard, Wyatt Buchanan-Way and Landon Buchanan; brothers, Shane Chumley, Joey (Diane) Chumley and Joel (Suzanne) Chumley. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 – 2:00 PM in the Haisten Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Friends may visit the family Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
