Carl Danny Dill Jr.

Mr. Carl Danny Dill, Jr. age 58 of Hampton, Georgia passed away April 22, 2017. He was born in Gastonia, North Carolina to Beverly Ann Lineberger Dill and the late Carl Danny Dill, Sr. Danny retired after 34 years as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA in Hampton. He loved to spend time with his family, going to the lake, boating and water skiing. He also enjoyed hunting, traveling, camping, riding his dirt bike, flying remote control airplanes and was always known to have a joke to tell. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Dill of Hampton; sons, Blake Dill of Atlanta and Brian Dill of Melbourne, FL; mother, Ann Dill of Hampton; siblings, Cindy (Charlie) Hearn of Hampton, Linda (Bill) Dodgen of Hampton, Michael (Marie-France) Dill of Naples, FL, Jennifer (Kurt) Coddington of Ola; numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 – 2:00 PM at the Hampton First Baptist Church. Pastor Craig McAdams will officiate. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are asked to be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston, Texas (Sarcoma Unit) at www.mdanderson.org in memory of Danny.
