Bob F. Dalton

Mr. Bob Frank Dalton, age 86 of McDonough, passed away on Wednesday, July 1st, 2020, loving husband to the late Carolyn Head Dalton. He was born in Newnan, GA to the late B.Y. and Edith Dalton. Bob proudly retired from the United States Army. He would then go on to work for the U.S. Department of Justice. Mr. Dalton was a member of the Rex Masonic Lodge #251 and Scottish Rite 32nd Degree. He was also a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Bob is survived by his daughters and their husbands: Debbie & Doug Scott, Gayle & William Mann, Sr., Kathryn & Dwight Snyder, and Ginny & Ray Frizzell, Jr.; grandchildren: Raven (James) Prestridge, Douglas Scott, III, Brittany (Nathan) Pruett, Christina (Gary) Williams, Teresa (Elmon) Duff, William Mann, Jr., Stephen Snyder, Rebecca Smith, Paul (Katy) Snyder, Jonathan Snyder, Ray (Sarah) Frizzell, III, and Joshua Frizzell; great grandchildren: Savannah, Michayla, Natalie, Tori, Joshua, Trevor, Abigail, Avery, Madilyn, Caleb, Carson, Gavin, and Ray Frizzell, IV; great great grandchildren: Levi and Stella; and sister: Susan (Kenny) Martain. He was predeceased by his first wife: Ruth Bass Dalton; son: Dennis Clark Dalton; and sister: Sarah Newborn. A private family graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Scott Gregory officiating.
