Mr. Knowles is survived by his wife of 58 years Dorothy Knowles; children Owen Bernard Knowles, Virginia Knowles, and Joseph Ross Knowles; grandchild Leslie Knowles; siblings Diane Smith, Donna Harp, and Brent Knowles; and several nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.
Beverly was the director of Utilities for the Georgia Public Service Commission. He was a good father and good provider for his family. Once retired he spent his time fishing, gardening, and collecting photos of lighthouse. He loved his wife, children, and granddaughter very much and will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Beverly will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian, 633 Hemphill Rd, Stockbridge, GA, followed by a graveside service at 11:00 AM at the church cemetery.
