Betty Hall

Betty Marie Hall, 90 of Newnan passed away peacefully at Grace Senior Living on September 13, 2024. She was born on June 21, 1934 in Crosland, GA to Jesse and Rena Hobby. She married and moved to McDonough in 1957 and raised a family of two girls. She loved cooking, caring for children, spending time with family and praising our Lord and Savior. Betty attended Mount Carmel Road Church before moving to Newnan in 2000 where her family attended what is currently, Go Church, in Sharpsburg. She was the youngest of ten children and is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hall and her siblings Eria Hart, Mary Tuggle, Janie Stone, Ruby Hancock, Jesse Hobby, Orris Hobby, Howard Hobby, Christine Morris and Alvin Hobby. Mrs. Hall is survived by her two daughters, Debra (Steve) Hartman and Donna (Bobby) Sikes; three grandchildren Jeremy (Shelly) Sikes, Jason (Catie) Sikes and Megan Hartman; one great grandchild Jayden Sikes. The family would like to show special recognition to their friend, Pam Dolden and caregiver to Betty for several years. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the services at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org would be appreciated.
