A native of Miller County, Annette had lived in Albany, GA from 1947-1998 before moving to McDonough, GA. She was retired from Southern Bell. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, former member of the Albany Civitan Club, The MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Organization, and a member of the Georgia Power Ambassadors. Annette was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in McDonough, GA where she was a part of her beloved Seekers Sunday School Class.
Annette is survived by her husband Earl D. Myers, brother J.O. Austin, Jr., daughter Connie Davis (Conner),son Earl “Dwight” Myers, Jr (Carole); grandchildren; Matthew C. Griffin (Jessica); Stephen C. Davis; Michael A. Davis (Erin); Anna Myers: Chris Myers (Katie); Great grandchildren; Owen Griffin and Wesley Griffin; son n law Raymond Todd.
Annette was preceded in death by her daughter Rita G Todd of McDonough; parents Theresa Austin and J.O. Austin Sr. of Albany, GA; Brother Bill Austin of Dothan, AL and Brother Jimmy Austin of Albany GA.
Due to the restrictions mandated by the CDC, services may be viewed by live stream via the Haisten Funeral Home Facebook page on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 2:00pm.
