Angela Steltzer

Angela Louise Steltzer, 46, beloved wife of Jeffrey D. Steltzer and devoted mother of Isabella, Ronan and Brock Steltzer, McDonough, GA passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9 after a brief and sudden illness.

Daughter of Carmen Porto and the late Mary Margaret Essay, Angela grew up in the Pittsburgh, PA area. She graduated from Gateway High School, Shippensburg University, and Duquesne University School of Law. Upon moving to Georgia, she married Jeffrey and began her career working for the Georgia Institute of Technology in grants and contract administration. Angie was preceded in death by her mother Mary, sister Theresa and brother Anthony.

Angie was a devout Christian and loved her family. She was very supportive of her husband’s and children’s interests and endeavors and had numerous friends in her church and neighborhood. She and Jeff became avid gardeners, reveling in cooking home grown vegetables from their harvests. Most of all, Angela was a loving wife and mother.

A Celebration of Angela’s Life will be held on Thursday, June 15. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Sharon Church, 536 North Ola Road, McDonough, GA, 30252. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sharon Church.
