Mr. Albert Geoffrey Blum, age 39 of Newnan, Georgia passed away February 25, 2015. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Barry Lee Blum and the late Vicci Lynn Phillips Blum. Albert, known as “Big Al” to his friends attending Community Christian Church in Sharpsburg. He loved being a father to little Aubrie. He also was an avid golfer, loved music and being fit and working on his home. Survivors include his father, Barry (Kathy Sligh) Blum of Newnan; daughter, Aubrie Huddleston; fiancé and her daughter, Jessica Huddleston and Leah; brother, David (Kirsten) Blum of Athens; nieces, Anna, Chloe and Evelyn Blum; aunt, Betsie Blum-Chester of Baltimore, MD. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Rev. Greg Fain will officiate. Interment will follow at Flippen Cemetery.
