Robert Allen Grandison

Robert Allen Grandison, 74, of Maysville, Kentucky died January 4, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Grandison retired from the January and Wood Company and was a veteran of the US Army. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on November 8, 1941 the son of the late William and Mattie Beckley Grandison. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Redmond Grandison; his daughter, Charlotte Allen Grandison of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Robert James Grandison and Kaeyla Ranease Grandison; his brother, Elgin Grandison of Maysville, KY and a host of family and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Herman, Roy, Kelly, David and James Grandison and sisters, Wilma Cox, Shiela Jones, Nida Green and Nelia Washington. Funeral services for Robert Grandison will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2016 with Pastor Debbie Horn officiating. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hargus Dudley, David Green, Marlon Thomas, DeWayne Thomas, Troy Steward, Charlie Washington and Wayne Grandison. Honorary pallbearers will be Stacy Steward, Jason Grandison, Wayne Davis and Donald Simmons. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service.
