Inez Joyce Neff, 77, resident of River Road of Aberdeen died at her home, Monday, May 7, 2012 after an extended illness. She was born in Mason County December 25, 1934 to the late Harrison S. and Hazel Ormes Jones. She was the owner and operator of Brown’s Motel in Aberdeen and in 1956 Joyce and her late husband Louis E. Neff founded Neff Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and operated it until 1982. Mrs. Neff was a member of Seddon United Methodist Church where she went on mission trips and helped at Ruggles Campground. She enjoyed traveling to many foreign locations. Mrs. Neff is survived by two sons, Louie Neff of Maysville, and Corky (Debbie) Neff of Aberdeen and one daughter Diane Neff (David) Case of Maysville. Seven grandchildren, Sommer (Zach) Cooke, Carly Case, Matthew (Sally) Neff, Rececca (Troy) Pugh, and Lindsay (Bryan) Gregory, Justin (Anjea) Neff, and Taylor Neff and five great grandchildren, Matthew Clarke Neff, Carson and Cade Pugh, and Camden and Asher Gregory. Also surviving are two brothers Paul Jones and James H. Jones, Jr. and five sisters, Geraldine Clark, Gladys Doherty, Dollie Bowling, Carol Laxton, and Marian Parker. She was preceded in death by a brothers Larry Michael Jones. Funeral services for Joyce Neff will be held Friday at 1 P.M. at Seddon United Methodist Church with Rev. Mason Harrod officiating. Burial will follow in the Maysville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Louie Neff, Corky Neff, John Miller, David Case, Justin Neff and Matthew Neff. Honorary bearers will be her caregivers, Janice Sauer, Brenda Jefferson, Bonnie Tautel, Sandy Gore, Sandy Gulley, Naomi Adams, Diane Gore, Patty Burke, and Sherry Usalman and Justin Neff. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 til 8 P.M. at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home.
