Frederick “Freddie” Allen Kabler, Jr., 59, of Maysville, Kentucky died Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe. Mr. Kabler was a heavy equipment operator. He was a veteran of the US Army having served his tour of duty from 1978 thru 1981. Freddie was a graduate of Mason County High School, a member of the Eagles Lodge and an avid hunter and fisherman. He was born in Maysville, Kentucky on March 7, 1959 the son of Lucy Conway Kabler of Maysville, KY and the late Federick A. Kabler, Sr. Besides his mother, survivors include his wife, Kathy Conrad-Kabler; one son, Jake Duke Wayne Kabler of Flemingsburg, KY; four step-children, Shane Pitts and Shelley Hardin both of Maysville, KY, Sheila Clemons of Germantown, KY and Jennifer Hartley of Flemingsburg, KY; one grandchild; eleven step-granchildren; one sister, Donna Kabler and one brother, Jerry Kabler both of Maysville, KY and his beloved dog, Rusty. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Jarrod Allen Kabler in 2017. Funeral services for Freddie Kabler will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 29, 2018 with Hospice Chaplain Keith Sergent officiating. Burial will be in the Green Acres Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Scot Hord, Fred Kabler, Bruce Prater, Nathan Hardin, Desmond O’Donnell, Larry Buchanan and Larry Pitts. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00AM until the hour of the service.
