Anna Lee Daulton, 68, of Spring, Texas and formerly of Maysville, Kentucky died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Mrs. Daulton was the widow of Clifton Ray Daulton, Sr. who died in May 2009. She attended the Orangeburg School and was a 1965 graduate of Mason County High School and was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2734 and a current member of St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church of Humble, Texas. She retired from KFC and was later associated with Baylor College of Medicine as an accounting clerk. Mrs. Daulton was born in Maysville, Kentucky on March 17, 1949 the daughter of the late William Means Applegate and Gladys Stumbo Applegate. She is survived by her two sons, Clifton Ray Daulton, Jr. (Savanah Thomas) and Charles Lee Daulton (Gretchen) both of Spring, Texas; four grandchildren, Justin Daulton, Laura Daulton, Kaitlyn Daulton and Erin Daulton; sisters, Bernice Jackson (Gary), Barbara Moreland (Thomas), Henrietta Brodt all of Maysville, KY and Betty Irene Daniel of Muncie, IN; brothers, James Applegate and Jack Applegate both of Maysville, KY and Wayne Applegate (Christine) of Spring, TX. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca Applegate and four brothers, Roy Applegate, William Means Applegate, II, Gordan Applegate and Billy Applegate. Funeral services for Anna Daulton will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 20, 2017 with Pastor Tony Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, KY. Pallbearers will be Wayne Pollitt, Christopher Applegate, Jeremy Applegate, Darren Applegate, James Bradford and ¬¬¬Tandy Jones. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 19, 2017 from ¬¬¬6 to 8 PM. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300,Jacksonville, FL 32256.
