Yolanda M. Geraci (née Algeri), age 98, of Mayfield Heights, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024. Born on January 14, 1926, in Cleveland, she was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Geraci, with whom she shared 68 years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and shared passions. A woman of many talents, Yolanda was an avid golfer, a talented artist, and a gifted opera singer. She had a deep love for music, which guided her to unforgettable experiences throughout her life. In 1953, Yolanda’s musical talents took her to Europe on a memorable tour sponsored by Coca-Cola and WJW radio, where she entertained World War II troops stationed across the continent. During her time abroad, she visited numerous countries, performed for soldiers and spread joy with her beautiful voice. Yolanda was the mother of twin daughters, grandmother to five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter who she was blessed to meet and cherish. Yolanda’s life was one of creativity and devotion. She will be deeply missed. A private service will be held.
