I am so sorry, I just read of Tom’s passing.  Over the years my entire family had the opportunity to meet Tom and Terry.  My father, Thomas Abramovich, enjoyed weekly activities at the Brecksville Senior Center with them.  Tuesday morning breakfast, Thursday lunches, and pinochle on Wednesday and Friday. There was no better matchup than when Tom & Tom were pinochle partners.  We loved hearing about their travels and family and stories of Tom’s jobs. Your parents were very dear to my father.  We shall miss all of them.

When you reach our age, its difficult to make new and lasting friendships, but we found that relationship with Tom and Terry about 20 years ago.  We met at water exercise class and then became card players and dinner mates.  Chuck and I will miss them both very much.  There was something that clicked when we met and we laughed and enjoyed just being together.    Playing 66 or fishing for bluegills was so much fun .  No one had the patience to fish like Terry and no one could trump my aces like Tom!  Our hearts go out to all of you.  They loved their family so  much and shared such memorable  stories with us about you all.  God bless you and comfort you .   We will always remember your

My dear Griffith family❤️  I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your awesome, fun, sweet & generous Dad!  I can only imagine how difficult it was to loose both your loving parents in such a short period of time.  I’m sure you are finding comfort in they’re being together.  You are all In my heart & prayers.  Praying for peace & happy, blessed memories to bring you comfort & smiles.  I could not have asked for better neighbors than your family to have helped me parent Elizabeth & Greg (wish Matt got the Griffith raising too😉)  I am so grateful for your parent’’s their love, mentoring & example helped me to be the Mom I became.

Dear Griffith Family: While thumbing through the pages of the newspaper today, I couldn't miss your father's dear face, and what a flood of memories it brought on!  I am so sorry for your loss, and as I read each of your names, I remember your family so fondly.  Our old neighborhood in Cleveland Heights should have been the poster child for "it takes a village." I will never forget your kindness to me and my family during good and difficult times.  As a "latch key" kid, you took me in practically every day after school and exposed me to my first delicious and legit Italian and all American foods.  My brother, Alex, and I loved being surrounded by your big, boisterous family probably  because we had such a tiny, quiet one.  Our home was sometimes a somber place, but yours was always so joyful to us. Rest In Peace Uncle Tom.   What a family reunion it must be up there in heaven.  My favorite memories are of the family reunions at Aunt Mary and Uncle Gordon’s.    And the holidays at our house because Grandma Griffith lived with us.   Great times were had by all. 

We all will miss Tom, he is with Terry now.

Tom got me my first job working with the DMV when I moved to Cleveland Hts in the late 60's.

Very sorry for this loss. Uncle Tommy was the last of the Griffith brothers on my Grandpas side of the family. The greatest generation as my grandpa called them all. My Grandpa was Harry Griffith. I am the daughter of Harrys oldest child Diane.  We enjoyed many family picnics on the farm with this awesome clan!!!Prayers and thoughts with the whole Griffith family. Xoxox Danielle Wood

We have known the Griffith family for many many years. Mr. Griffith was a wonderful man and we are both blessed to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.  We can all take comfort knowing he is with his lord and reunited with his dear wife.

This comes with such a heavy heart not getting to properly say,   "Arrivederci" .   Tom (and Terry) were both dearly loved friends to Brecksville Human Services.  Their bright light and good nature will be deeply missed around the "pigs knuckles" group, lunch gatherings, Handcrafters circles, senior exercise classes, but especially in the hearts of our staff who have been blessed to call them friends.
One day, we'll visit again in His Glory!
