It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our mother, Meiying Yu. She passed away peacefully on February 16, 2023, at the age of 92. She was a wonderful mother who dedicated her life to supporting her family. She had a passion for gardening and loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Weiyue Hu. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: LongBing Hu (CaiXia Liu), Lucy Hu (Yan Zhou), and Yiping Hu (Weiyuan Xu); 5 grandchildren: Wei Hu, Laura Hu, Wen (Aaron) Butcher, Jeffrey Xu, and Jason Xu: and 2 great-grandsons: Charles and Theodore Butcher.
A memorial service will be held on February 25, 2023 at 10:00 am at DiCicco & Son's Funeral Home, with burial immediately following at Knollwood Cemetery.
