We knew Matt well as a young man .  We are saddened to hear of his passing.  Our deepest sympathy, love, and prayers go out to  the family.

I had the privilege of working with Matt and he was such a loving and caring young man. Debbie my heart breaks for you and his family. I send my love and peace to all of you.

My condolences

 I was shocked and saddened to hear of Matt passing. 

I will forever remember all the great memories of time spent him and my younger brother while we were growing up...It had been quite some time since I last saw him....last time  was happenstance picking up pizza a few years ago and we chatted briefly and I remember how excited he was to be a new dad. 

You will be forever missed Matt - goodbye for now...will see you on the other side. 

I met Matt about six years ago when my son married Amy, Matt’s sister.  Matt loved his family .. was such a patient and loving Dad.     He was such a talented carpenter. I am lucky to have been a small part of his life. 
Katie, Debbie, Amy, Rachel. Jake and Justin and the rest of the “Collins” family, my heart breaks for your loss.  Hold the memories you have close to your heart, pull them out when you think you can’t cry another tear and remember the good times you shared.  Every time you see a Cardinal say hello!

We have fond memories of Matt spending a summer with our family like one of our "own".  Best middle/high school buddy of our son Tim and friend to his brothers as well...Todd and Trevor.  Pool fun, building an addition, meals, movies, video games,backyard camping, lotsa sleepovers!  Such a good guy that Matt Collins!  WE are so sorry for the loss of an extraordinary fine young man and offer prayers and sympathies to ALL that were blessed to know him.  Hoping these memories help the healing process for all of us grieving. 

Matt was an exceptional human being. He was kind, loving, happy and so full of life. I feel so sorry for his family, to lose him so early. I know his family meant everything to him. My prayers are with you.

I am shocked and saddened by this news. I have not see seen Matt since he was in high school and in church or on the football field.  This picture of him and his son is wonderful and will remind me to pray for his family. I am truly sorry for your loss. I remember Matt like a gentle giant. He was quiet, but his smile would light up the room.
