LINDA D. FIGER (nee Arnold), age 60, of Rome, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, June 6, from a vehicular accident. Born and raised in Cleveland, she was a proud graduate of Collinwood High School. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of forty years, Albert, and two knucklehead children, Albert and Stephanie. Her fans will remember her as the Queen of the three Cs—cooking, crafting, and caring. After 18 years of exemplary customer service at Heinen’s of Chardon, Linda was joyfully living the retired life with her husband. Her recent travel exploits took her to the Great American West and the beautiful Upstate New York region, where she pored over every sign to be read and photographed every church within her eyesight. Taking her example from the parable of The Loaves and the Fishes, she was at her most joyful when she was feeding the masses—nourishing their bodies and souls in ways that can only be described as miraculous. She is survived by her mother Barbara (Zimcosky), and siblings Rick (Carol) of Euclid, OH, Barbara (Ted) of Parma, OH, Pam Palmer (Mike) of Woodstock, GA, Danny (Lorie) of Eastlake, OH, and Tim (Jenny) Eastlake, OH, and brother-in-law, Frankie of Cleveland, OH. A devoted Catholic, Linda joins her father Dayton, brothers Gary and Bob, brother-in-law Scott, and sister-in-law Tina in heaven. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine at 21281 Chardon Rd., Euclid, OH 44117, or the Cleveland Food Bank at 15500 S. Waterloo Rd., Cleveland, OH 44110. Funeral Services 11:30 AM Friday June 14 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at THE DiCICCO AND SONS FUNERAL HOME 5975 MAYFIELD RD.
