Dave and Lori I am so sorry to have seen this. This is the first I caught wind of it and it just sent me right down on my seat. I am so sorry that you had to go through this. No parent should ever feel that kind of pain. My prayers are with you and your family with my deepest sympathy.

Dear Bruckman Family, 
There are no words to describe the profound sympathy we have for you at this time of unspeakable loss. Krista is -and will always be - an amazingly bright and stunningly attractive beauty both inside and out. Seared into our memory is the resounding  joy she has brought to us all; her wonderful almost playful vision of the world allowed us to share in her delight of even the most mundane little things. The best years of our daughter Melissa’s young life were spent with Krista and the memories they made are forever  treasured by each of us. Her energy was as contagious and inspiring as her brilliant beaming smile.  She made the summers fun and exciting as together with Missy she guarded the pool, jogged the park trails, and finished up giggling at our house seemingly endlessly. Our dearest sweet Krista made our world better and so much brighter; forever she will be loved and cherished by us all.

To Lauri, Dave, Jonathan, Matt and the rest of the Bruckman family, I want to send my deepest condolences during this difficult time. Krista was like a big sister to me growing up. Your household was always a second home to me, but most of all you were a second family to me.  I always knew I had a place full of love and happiness I could come to during hectic times. I remember building forts and playing Super Nintendo in the basement with Jon, Krista, and of course Snowball. That was over 20 years ago and I can remember everything so vividly. The impact your family had on my life was profound. I'm not sure if Krista ever told you guys this but when I was traveling back and forth to a new school my junior year I had connecting flight in I believe Minnesota I think and I was walking through the airport by myself at 15 or 16 years old terrified because I don't travel much and by the sheer chance, God, or coincidence, I saw the prettiest girl in the airport and it was Krista. Her beauty really did stick out. She was with a friend and we chatted for a bit and grabbed something to eat and just by her presence, attitude, and kind words my anxiety disappeared that day. This is not just a tragic loss for your family, but for everyone Krista met in her life. I love your whole family as much as my own and I never stop thinking about all my childhood memories I had with Jonathan and Krista.

In Krista's memory, my kids and I are going to sponsor an adoption for the most special cat we can find at the local shelter.  Krista had the biggest heart for the frailest cats she could rescue.   She was a beautiful girl with an even more beautiful soul...  so kind.  She will be missed on Earth as she watches us from Gods kingdom.
