Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Rose family. John was one of my fathers (John Elkanick)  bowling buddies back in the day. He had known me since the day I was born! Loved him like he was my dad. i feel so blessed to have known john.  I will remember him as a kind and caring man of vast knowledge and someone who was determined to teach me all he could about football during our time together on saturdays.  I so treasure his life stories he had shared with me.  it was a true honor to know he and Millie.  May God wrap his comforting arms around each of you at this time.

At work, Johnny was always the one everyone went to when they needed help or advice. He made all of us more successful. Humor, honesty, curiosity, and a fierce loyalty were some of the qualities that also made him a very close personal friend. Sincere condolences go out to his family.

Such a great loss where do you begin. Johnny was the epitome of what it means to be an Engineer. I will always admire his knowledge, his dedication and his eagerness to teach people like myself. Above all he taught me at a young age to do what I love and love what I do. A true gentleman who I will always look up to. Thank you Johnny for crossing my path in this life.

Johnny touched us all in so many ways. Professionally he was always on top of his game. We all learned so much from him. More importantly he came to be one of my dearest friends. A quick wit, a true storyteller, a gem of a man. If you needed him, he was there and would do anything he could for you. I will always treasure the role that he played in my life and am lucky to call him my uncle and godfather. It breaks my heart that I cannot make it to the service to honor Uncle Johnny due to my recent foot surgery, but I am with you all in spirit. Thank you Laura, Trudy and Veronica for sharing him with us all.
