Frances Bondi Browne age 74, passed away peacefully on December 21. A lifelong resident of Cleveland – with a short hiatus in Connecticut – Fran was a physician assistant for more than 25 years at the Cleveland Clinic. She was the widow of Dr. Earle Z. Browne, a Cleveland Clinic surgeon.
Fran, known to her 4 grandchildren as Mimi, is survived by 3 sons – Daniel (Kristin) of University Heights, Brian of University Heights, and Patrick (Megan) of Mayfield Heights. She adored her 2 granddaughters – Alice (7) and Zoe (5) - and her two grandsons – Callen (10) and Oliver (3).
She is also survived by her sister Anne Myers of Twinsburg, and brother Joseph Bondi of Shaker Heights.
Fran grew up in University Heights, the daughter of William and Olivia Bondi. She was an honor student at Regina High School and graduated with a teaching and fine arts degree from Bowling Green State University. She then taught Art at the Noah Wallace School in Farmington, CT.
Fran was a talented artist, as well as an interior designer with refined taste. All who knew her will remember fondly her spirited generosity, and her great holiday feasts.
