I am very sorry to learn of Ochi's recent  passing.  Ochi was instrumental in my daughter Rachel's mastery of powerlifting.  Through Ochi's guidance, Rachel set two American records and two State records as well.  Earlier this year, Rachel had the opportunity to thank Ochi for teaching her powerlifting and trainer techniques and Ochi appreciated Rachel's kind words.  Dear family you are in our prayers.  Romans 8:28.

Ochi was the best trainer I have had the pleasure of working with throughout my basketball career. He was kind, funny, and always gave the best athletic advice. You will be missed.

My deepest sympathies go's out to you and your daughter. Och was my trainer during my football days in school.  He was a down to earth guy; easy to get along with and would help you in a drop of a pin. I will truly miss him. You and your daughter will be in my prayers.

Mr. Ochi saved my daughter from having to have knee surgery as a freshman swimmer and cross country runner.

Ochi was my trainer as a swimmer in high school. Always loved going to him for advice. I became closer to him when I was coaching. He was always so kind and you knew the trainers room was peace! I will really miss him.

Ochi was a loyal friend and mentor to me. I spent a lot of time with him during my high school years and you could see how much he cared about the students and his job. I will always remember Och as a good hearted man and an amazing role model. He worked hard at getting us back out there as quickly as possible if we had an injury. I'll also never forget all of the times that he participated in drills, conditioning, warm ups, and practices with us. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Ochi always knew I was never going to be a good or even great athlete, but he took time to get to know me and allowed me to be a part of the team! He always treated me with dignity and respect! He never made me feel inadequate. He was a special man! Many blessings to his family!
