David Myron Hess

DAVID HESS passed peacefully on June 11, 2016. David was predeceased by his beloved wife Laurie. Dearest father of Pauline Tessein (Terry), Kathleen Hess (Hanno Weber) and Christine Hess (Steven Hawley), grandfather of David Tessein (Nicole), great-grandfather of Lena Rose. He will be missed by family and friends. David a self-employed professional engineer designed solutions for companies in Northeastern Ohio. He instructed students at the Cleveland Institute of Art and Tri-C. With the Gates Mills Art Show he was an active volunteer for forty years and served as Chairman from 2007 to 2015 where he developed a warm, supportive relationship with the local art community. He was a voracious reader, a bridge player, traveler and enjoyed circles of life-long friends. He always had a joke or story to share and loved a lively game of cards. The family will receive friends at the DiCICCO AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 5975 MAYFIELD RD. MAYFIELD HTS. (at Lander Rd.) THURSDAY 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and FRIDAY 10 A.M. until the service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at the Gates Mills North Cemetery.
