I can't imagine the pain you're feeling right now, nor can I understand why you have to feel it. Allison had a beautiful soul. She was wry, funny and endlessly clever. Allie,  you helped prove to me that God takes the kindest and nicest people from this world first. I cant help but quote one of my favorite songs as you know I always do..."Only the good die young"(~Billy Joel) I saw this first hand in you.  One of the most calm, cool, and collected people I have known, always eager to lend a hand and support any endeavors happening around you. I'm thankful that we have been around this world together setting grand examples of how life ought to be lived. We shared one of the largest groups of great friends any one could dream of. I cant help but think your soul wants to get back in the body and go dance to one more show, but I suspect the view from heaven is much much better anyway. You are one of a few people I know that are getting rad dibs on a shady camp site at  that great Hookahville in the sky.  Waving tapestries of schwas as psychedelic colors flow from your fingers, you lucky duck. HAUNT ME! you know I am not afraid! I love you Allie, and I will be missing you dearly, till I too shall finish my gig here on Earth

Mary Lee and Mark: I know only too well what suffering you feel in your heart to have lost Allie at such a tender age. Christopher, I am sure you will miss your sweet sis. I never had the pleasure of meeting Allie or Chris, but I was Mary Lee's sec'y at the USAO for a long time, and know she is a loving person, therefore, an excellent mother. I read all the other comments prior to making my entry because I wanted to learn what I could about Allie. From what I've read, she sounds a lot like her mom --mischievious and fun, intelligent and witty, beautiful, kind and thoughtful. I'm hoping to make it to the viewing; I'm not fond of driving in unfamiliar areas, but I have my GPS. Now just to overcome my fear. If I don't make it, I'm hoping you will know that you are truly in my thoughts and prayers and I'm hoping in time the happy thoughts overcome your sadness. I would have preferred to have sent a card with this message, but don't have your address.

 She was always very encouraging to me.. One of my favorite moments of her was standing back stage at the newport steve came over to us.. leaned against the wall, took a hit off his cigarette and he kept right on playing.. after he walked away she said that was "incredible".. huge smile on her face .... we were both blown away ... I will miss her we went very close.. but I will miss her all the same...
