Theresa was a devoted mother to Deborah Carter, Carolyn (Dominick) Pititto, and John (Joanne) Krushinski. She was a beacon of love and strength as a grandmother to Dominick, J.D., Justin, and Julian, and as a great-grandmother to Anthony and Kira.
Theresa was the devoted sister of Joan Gallo and Anna Riccardi. She was not only a family matriarch but a pillar of her community. Theresa was known for her culinary skills, delighting in cooking for her loved ones. She found joy in solving puzzles and crosswords and was an avid fan of the game show "The Price is Right".
Theresa's passion for her family knew no bounds. She was a dedicated cheerleader at her grandchildren's games, particularly lacrosse, though sometimes she was gently reminded that her cheers were a tad too enthusiastic. Her strong Catholic faith guided her every step, and she found solace in her devotion.
In addition to her family and faith, Theresa dedicated her time to serving others. She enjoyed crocheting and was a caretaker for elderly nuns in Amityville. She also made a difference in the lives of the less fortunate, preparing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless at St. William the Abbot Church.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6-8 pm. A funeral mass will take place at St. William the Abbot Church on Friday at 9:30 am, followed by interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Theresa's legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will forever remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her. She leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories that will be cherished by her family and community alike. May she rest in eternal peace.
