Rosemary A. Horn, age 81 passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024.Having overcome difficulties from her childhood, a true test of her resilience and boundless fortitude. Her loving nature fostered an altruistic soul with true grit. Always ready to lend a hand and cheering for the underdog. She missed her true calling in life to be a nurse, she chose motherhood instead with no regrets. Ready to lend an ear to anyone who wanted to talk, many of them her children’s friends. Many times her children would walk in and see their friends talking to her. They weren’t there to see them, they were there to talk to Rosemary. She had the warmest smile that had the ability to melt away worries and brighten even the gloomiest of days. A universal language that she spoke fluently, a language of kindness and connection. An amazing cook, fiercely devoted to her family and quoted as saying “Of all the names you can call me, my favorite is grandma and when you call me Grandma, you filled my heart” Overall she was a cool lady. Predeceased by her beloved husband William. Loving mother to Billy (Maritza) Horn, Richard (Paula) Horn, and Marie (Russ) Etts. Cherished grandmother to Nicholas (Michelle) Horn, Amanda (Greg) Jaronczyk, Adrianna (Kyle) Grossmann, Andrea (Brenden) Cummings, Richard & Vincent Horn, and Thomas Etts. Beloved great grandmother to Robert, Frances, Hunter, Avalynn, and Declan. Loving sister in law to Betty Lavacca. Adored aunt to Lisa, Nancy, Louie, And John.
