MICHAEL J. PENDOLA, on April 17, 2013 of Wantagh, New York, 92 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor with 62 1/2 years of marriage. Cherished father of the late Mary Andrea Pendola (born 3/21/48 - passed away 4/26/66, 18 years old). Loving father of his foster children from 1968 to present, Jimmy, Michael, Maria and Kathleen. Adored grandfather of Anthony, Peter, Cristina, Steven, Theresa, Victoria, Angela and Brianna. Fond brother of Josephine, Anne (Dolly) and the late (Benny and Marie). Michael served in the United States Armed Forces for 2 years during World War II. Michael worked as a machine shop operator for his brother-in-law, then from 1971 to 1986 he worked for the New York City Transit MTA, and public service officer for Molloy College, 1986 - 2009 for 22 years. Loving Grandpa to dogs, Winston and Cookie. "Dad loved sitting in his beach chair enjoying the sun". "He just loved the beach!" He was an usher for St. William the Abbot RC Church, in Seaford for about 45 years.

Visitation will be held on Friday, 2:00 to 4:30 and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at St. William the Abbot RC Church, 2000 Jackson Avenue, Seaford, NY 11783 ~

Interment to follow at St. Johns Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, New York, 11379 ~
