Adored sister of the late Larry, the late Helen, and the late Margaret. Katherine had worked in a factory during World War II. And was a devoted homemaker for her family. Katherine's hobby's included needlepoint, crocheting, working on her crossword puzzles, and baking. Her favorite shows included "The Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy".
Two of Katherine's favorite sayings were "you'll get over it" and "you're a good kid when you're asleep."
Katherine was a tough, strong woman who was born during WWI and lived during WWII and the Depression. She grew up in Brooklyn, and used to tell us about the days she had to drag coal up four flights of stairs to heat the apartment.
