RIZZO, JOSEPHINE (MiMi) on December 17, 2013 of Massapequa. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Devoted mother of Lucille Scavone (and partner Rick Theobald) and Barbara Vilar (late husband Ken). Loving grandmother of Peter (Terri), Allison (Dave), Michele (Brian) Aindrea (Shawn), Ryan, Sean, Nicholas, and Melinda. Cherished great grandmother of Brendan, Peter, Faith, Jillian, Mallory, Chase, Kieran, Rebecca, Kellan. Fond sister of Sarah Nardi.

Josephine loved old movies, television, people magazine, and her bear collection.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa.

Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4:30 & 7 to 9:30 p.m.

Funeral mass will be held on Monday, at 9:45 a.m. Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 855 Carmens' Road, Massapequa Park. Interment to follow, Pinelawn Memorial Park, Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale.
