Age 81, died August 22, 2012 in Lansing, Michigan. Waunita was born July 6, 1931 in Nevada, Ohio to Alonzo and Eva (Sunderland) Klinger. Waunita was a resident of the Leslie area for most of her life. She loved to embroidery, was a great cook and an avid Tiger fan. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Klinger. She is survived by a son, Jerry (Martha) Klinger of Texas, 3 grandchildren, Jerry Andrew Klinger, Matthew (Casey) Klinger, Samantha (Oscar) Luna, 1 great grandchild, Gabriel Luna, 6 brothers, Forrest (Mary Jo) Klinger, Robert Klinger, Jerry R. (Bonnie) Klinger, Jimmy (Diane) Klinger, Kenny Klinger, Harold Klinger, 2 sisters Shirley Wilcczynski, Norma (Mark) Day and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, Michigan with Steven Gonzales, Chaplain of Grace Hospice officiating. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home 1 hour prior to the service.
