T.R. Schoonover, 64, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Born April 11, 1955 to LeRoy and Lucretia (Brighton) Schoonover, T.R. was a longtime associate of Clean Team, working most recently as a supervisor. When he wasn’t working, T.R. was an excellent fisherman and a pretty good poker player.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his two brothers, Robert Schoonover and James Brighton; and his sister, Vickie Smith.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Teri (Johnson) Schoonover; his children, Nicole Schoonover, Melissa Cole, and T.R. (Nita) Schoonover II; his grandchildren, Michael, Michelle, and Marissa Cole, Tyler and Evie Schoonover; his great-grandchildren, Eli and Harmony Thompson and Taliah Gonzales; his sister, Brenda Miller; and his dear dog, Stinky.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
