Thomas Dwight Shaver

Thomas D. Shaver, 65, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, March 29, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Born January 6, 1954 in Lansing, Tom was a devoted MSU fan for life. When he wasn’t cheering on his beloved Spartans, he was wearing Spartan green and enjoying his family, bicycling, swimming, playing chess, and camping. He was a longtime Dart employee, working in the engineering department. Tom loved to be outdoors, whether he was camping, taking his family to the park, riding his bike, having adventures…. but his love of life and nature was nothing compared to the love he had for his family – anytime he was with them, he was happy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight Shaver; his brother, Scott A. Shaver; and his grandparents.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 40 years, Pamela Jo Shaver; his daughters, Shanna and Heather Shaver; his grandchildren, Jory, Mackenzie, and Mickayla Shaver; his mother, Carol Shaver; his sister, Tonya Harris; along with many other family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 11:00am at Eden United Brethren Church, 1938 Eden Road, Mason, Michigan.
