Age 49, died July 15, 2013; born January 10, 1964 to Lyman and Phyllis (Wherley) Smith in Mason, MI. Scott was a great sports enthusiast. A special thank you to the Staff at Wilson Homes, Inc. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Frederick “Rick” Smith and Michael Smith. He is survived by his brother, Bryan (Suzi) Smith; sister, Carole Smith; sister-in-laws, Patricia Smith, Linda Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 2:30 to 4:30 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The graveside service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring, 3100-A West Road, Suite 100, East Lansing, MI 48823.
