Sandra "Sandy" Kay Cooper Lamb, 78, of Dansville, MI, passed away on November 8, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born on April 20, 1946, Sandy was known for her spirit of resilience and her motto, "everything is fine," which she upheld throughout her life.
Sandy had a profound love for antiques and travel, often combining these passions as she searched for unique treasures across different antique stores. Her home was a reflection of the places she visited and the stories she gathered. A devoted pet lover, Sandy's companions were never far from her side, providing comfort and joy throughout her life.
Her involvement with the American Cocker Spaniel Club highlighted her commitment to her pets and the broader community of pet enthusiasts. She cherished these relationships, fostering a sense of family and belonging among fellow members.
Sandy was a loving mother and wife, remembered for her nurturing nature and unwavering support. She is survived by her son, Tom Lamb (Helen), and daughter, Michelle Murphy (Rick); grandchildren Gabriel and Adriana Lamb, and Casey and Erin Murphy; sister Karen Freshney; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Rodney Lamb; parents, Angus and Edna Cooper; and sister, Marilyn Swan.
Sandy's life was a testament to her enduring love for her family and her ability to find beauty in the everyday. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by all.
All services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Ball Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854.
An evening visitation for Sandra will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A visitation will occur Friday, November 15, 2024 at 10:00 AM , followed by A Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family would like any donations to be made to the Rogel Cancer Center located at U of M in Ann Arbor.
