Ronald J. Hanson

Leslie, formerly of Manistee, Michigan

Age 87, died October 8, 2013; born January 27, 1926 in Manistee, Michigan to Theodore J. and Ruth (Babe) Hanson. Ron was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, devoted family man, and an avid outdoorsman. He was a 2nd Lt. in the Army Air Corps, 8th Air Force during World War II. He graduated from MSU in 1951 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He was an Electrical Engineer at Consumers Energy for 35 years and a shop/math teacher at Lansing Eastern High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Ruth (Babe) Hanson. Surviving Ron are his wife, Ruth; daughter, Ronna (Jeremy) Hanson; sons, Chris (Maria) Hanson, Jeff (Gloria) Hanson, Eric (Christine) Hanson, Steve (Debbie) Hanson, Kevin (Laura) Hanson, and 12 grandchildren. No services will be held.
