Robert Marvin Mahlich

Born March 16, 1947 in Greenville, Michigan to Eldon and Beth (Rowland) Mahlich, passed away on December 17, 2017, at the age of 70. Robert owned his own business, Mahlich Milk Hauling, for 40 years. He enjoyed retirement for only four short years. Robert was a hard-working man who loved to fish. He had a dry sense of humor and was a perfectionist. Robert enjoyed gardening and shooting his hand guns. He loved his wife’s gourmet style cooking and his dog Romeo. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, they meant the world to him. He will truly be missed.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Eugene Mahlich; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Mahlich. Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 28 years, Ivanka; daughters, Brooke (Derek) Cummings, Elizabeth (Steve) Hearn, Amy Williams; six grandchildren, and one on the way; and brother, Kurt Mahlich.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854 with visitation one hour prior.
