Paul B. Mudgett Jr.

Mason, Michigan

Age 85, passed away October 23, 2014 in Lansing, Michigan. He was born February 23, 1929 to Paul and Marguerite (Kelsey) Mudgett. Paul has been a resident of Mason since 1942; graduating from Mason High School in 1949. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. He loved ice fishing and was a stellar golfer, having played Vevay, Eldorado, and Bonnie View Golf Courses and getting a hole in one on each of these courses. Paul retired from Wyeth after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Duncan in 2005; and 2 step sisters. He is survived by his wife, Merna of 64 years; daughter, Kathleen Caltrider; sons, Paul B. (Faye) Mudgett III, Michael (JoAnn) Mudgett; 5 grandchildren, Paula Caltrider, Michael Mudgett, Paul Z. Mudgett, Isabelle Mudgett, Travis Simmons; 1 great grandchild, Zachary Christian Caltrider. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church of Mason, 131 E. Maple Street, Mason. Dr. Fred Graham and Rev. Michael Mudgett will co-officiate. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the church.
