Michael is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn Hursh; two sons, Michael J. (Debbie) Hursh and Mark L. (Dawn) Hursh; eight grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Cayla, Dawn, Heather, Bridgette, Nicole, and Tonae; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Susan Meader. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Rick and James; sister, Pat; and his parents, James and Marjorie.
Michael was a proud patriot and serviceman to his country. He served in the USS Navy for four years and was a life-long member of the VFW. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, hunting, travelling with his wife, and his man-made pond. Michael loved his family and he will be greatly missed by all.
A Memorial service will be held on Sunday February 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm located at the VFW Hall Post 7309, 1243 Hull Rd Mason, Michigan 48854
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Michael’s memory to the VFW Post 7309 (Jean R Anderson) or to your local VFW post.
