Melody J Sievert

Melody was born in Pontiac, MI on September 9, 1954 and was the daughter of Amber and Ronald Burton. She attended high school at Waterford Kettering and graduated in 1972. Melody married Rob Sievert on August 9, 1986 and they were happily married for 27 years. She worked for the State of Michigan for 35 years and after retiring, she worked shortly for L & S Associates. Melody volunteered her time to Meals on Wheels and especially loved volunteering for the Ele’s Place organization.

Melody is survived by the love of her life, her husband Rob Sievert of Mason, MI, her daughter Mary (Zach) Fales, and grandsons Garrett and Trevor of Grand Rapids, MI, her daughter Kristy (Garrett) Sievert of Grand Rapids, MI, her father Ronald Burton of Orange, TX, her sister Priscilla (David) LaBelle of Waterford, MI, her sister Karen (George) Whitbread of Holly, MI, her brother Vance Burton of Orange, TX, her brother Ronald (Wendy) Burton of Holly, MI, her brother in law Fred (Sue) Sievert of Stamford, CT and nineteen nieces and nephews. She will also greatly miss her cats Angel, Pookie and Marley.

Melody is preceded in death by her mother, Amber Burton and niece Chantel Whitbread.
