Lucas loved to play music. He was on his way to be an accomplished guitarist. He enjoyed spending time with his family- He loved to camp, fish and truly enjoyed the outdoors. His favorite place on Earth was Copper Harbor, Michigan.. He loved to travel and he spent time traveling the entire coast of California, living the van life one summer.
He played started playing guitar at age 6 - his professional aspirations were to become a high school English teacher - Journalist and eventually a full-time musician. Most importantly, he loved the Lord. As a child, he talked often about becoming a preacher. He was the most talented selfless, unassuming old soul … rest in peace our Guitar Man. You are not suffering anymore. We will all be together again in Heaven someday.
Lucas is survived by his parents John Atkinson, (Mason) Julie (Ruddon) Atkinson, (Allen Park), surviving sibling, Rachel (Nicholas Aaron Rhodes) Dawson. Paternal Grandparents, Barbara (predeceased Robert) Atkinson. Maternal Grandparents, Rosemary-Lawrence Ruddon (predeceased). Lucas is survived by Aunts and Uncles as follows: Maureen Ruddon, Joseph Ruddon, Terese (Thomas) Shaver, Michael Atkinson (Ann) and first cousins Autumn (Drew) McDonald, Thomas (Megan) Shaver II, Michael Atkinson Jr., and Amanda (Christopher) Spencer and Nicholas Boulahanis.
