John R. VanDouser passed away on July 15, 2024, in Windsor Twp, Michigan, just one day shy of his 86th birthday. Born on July 16, 1938, in Mason, Michigan, he was the son of the late John Roosevelt VanDouser and Vivian (Ballard) Everitt.
John is survived by, Ann Glynn, who was also the mother of his three children and his caregiver in his later years. He leaves behind a loving family including his children, Jonathan (Susie) VanDouser, Todd VanDouser, and Jenifer (Brian) Moore; step-daughter Sheila Gordy (Jeff), and step-son Mike Skaggs (Katherine); as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
Graveside services will be held on August 10th at Maple Grove Cemetery at 11am. A luncheon will follow the service at Eden United Brethren Church, 1938 Eden Rd, Mason, MI. John's life will be celebrated and remembered by family and friends who are welcome to join in honoring his memory.
