John "Jack" Maier, Jr., age 75, of Mason, passed away on May 10, 2020. He was born on August 18, 1944 in Detroit, MI, to the late John and Virginia Maier. Jack was a chemical engineer for the Ford Motor Company. He worked there for many years. Jack was passionate about the game of hockey. He taught and coached for many years. Jack loved going to hockey games, and cheering for the Detroit Red Wings. He loved watching and photographing the wildlife on his property.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne; his children, Ann Maier of Garden City, Michelle (Matt) Ward of Farmington, and James (Mary) Dunn of Fremont; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Carlie, Matt, and Megan; his sister, Marcia Covert of Livonia.
