Joann M. Alden

Born April 24, 1939 in Lansing, MI to Ralph and Dorothy (Sebolt) Ewing, passed away on April 15, 2017 at the age of 77. Joann worked hard all her life. She raised 4 boys and worked as a food server for Okemos High School. Joann was artistic and enjoyed arts and crafts and decorating cakes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Alden; brothers, Roger Ewing, Charles Ewing, Mickey Ewing; sister, Carol Ewing, and brother-in-law, Jerry Kenney. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Terry Alden, Dan Alden, Glen (Kay) Alden, Harry Alden; 3 grandchildren, Natasha Alden, Robbie Alden, Kassie Alden; 2 great-grandchildren, Henry and Ashton; brother, Richard (Joann) Ewing, sisters, Mary Ellen (Gerald) Goad, Henrietta (Loren) Roberts, and Judy Kenney.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Ball Dunn Chapel, 621 S. Jefferson St., Mason, MI 48854.
